At least, I wish he would fly away - he's been my constant companion for years. If I liked him better, I'd have to make him my sidekick, but I content myself with declaring him the archnemesis whose strength matches my own, whom I can never quite defeat. Yet even after all these years, he hasn't brought me down completely.
Insomnia's main power is sleeplessness, which doesn't make for quick defeats yet can lay low even the mightiest of men, superhero or not. He's changed his tactics of late - I think he's trying to throw me off. Before my recent rendezvous at the Hall of Justice, he contented himself with battling against my psyche for a few hours each night before I slipped through his defenses and into slumber. Yet since my return, our battles have been in odd bursts throughout the night, usually at two-hour intervals. I begin to wonder if his Nodoze Ray only carries a short charge, but that doesn't change that he's become more crafy in its use.
But, I must return to the battle, if only to keep Insomniaman's attention so that others may rest. Good night, and if you find yourself fighting Insomniaman, give him a punch in the nose from me.
