New Poll!
Well, friends and family, Halloween is approaching. I decided that it might be fun to create a poll about something scary. After some consideration (and some inspiration from my Portuguese class), I realized that one of the biggest and scariest things for Americans today is the issue of Global Warming. I think it is MAMOTH hybris for anyone to think that anything humans can do could have a permanent affect on Planet Earth!!! Global Warming/Cooling may or may not be a scientific, provable fact. We haven't been aware of it long enough to make a conclusive study of the issue. The thing that scares me is the use to which our miniscule understanding is being put by self-absorbed politicians and others who wish to manipulate a less educated public opinion.
